What to Do in a Dental Emergency
If you’re in pain or have had a dental injury, call us as soon as possible. We do our best to accommodate emergency patients on the same day. While you’re waiting for your appointment:
For toothache: over-the-counter pain relief (such as ibuprofen) can help manage discomfort
For a broken tooth: rinse your mouth gently with warm water and avoid chewing on that side
For a knocked-out tooth: handle it by the crown (not the root), keep it moist in milk or saliva, and get to us as soon as possible — time is critical
For swelling or infection: do not apply heat; a cold compress on the outside of your face may help
We prioritise emergency cases and aim to provide same-day care whenever possible. Our goal is to relieve your pain quickly and help you understand exactly what comes next.
Fast Assessment. Clear Answers. Immediate Care.
We examine your teeth and symptoms promptly to identify the cause of your pain.

What to Expect at Your Emergency Appointment
When you arrive, our priority is to get you comfortable. Your dentist will assess the situation, take any necessary X-rays, and discuss your treatment options clearly and calmly.
Whether you need a simple repair, a prescription for infection, or an extraction, we’ll make sure you understand what’s happening every step of the way. We never want you to feel anxious or in the dark.
Don't Ignore a Dental Emergency
Dental infections can spread quickly and become serious. If you’re experiencing facial swelling, fever, or difficulty swallowing or breathing alongside dental pain, please seek emergency medical care immediately.
